Tired of staying in the truck, went out for a walk and found this nice park nearby.



It seems there was some Memorial Day celebration there this weekend.



Nice place for a walk...



Found out there is also a public swimming pool in this park...



They charge $10.00 for adults...



Wish I had known it earlier.... I miss exercising in the water.

At least I got to walk around and exercise some...

Even now thunder is getting closer.
It would take a collapse of the Livingston dam to get us. However the road out front could get sloppy enough to keep me from getting out in the morning. Soon I shall be asleep.

It sucked big time

 

Rained cats and dogs on and off on the way out to Tupelo, ms. Irritated at myself, but I'm glad I left aiming to park at the receiver all the same. I mis-read my Qualcomm's eta of 7:30 as the appointment time. The appointment time was really 6:30. I'll have to play with my logs so I can officially take my 10, but there's plenty of time for me to sleep.

Saw some beautiful scenery and sky coming out this way on US-78. I'll have to start making earlier trips out more often... Made the whole trip worthwhile. I guess that's the downside of night driving?

As of right now I ain't going anywhere today.
I sent text asking if Roland was alive and dry.
He said yes but can't get out of his neighborhood. I sent I was going to go to Conroe. Then to SDV. Then be rid of trailer.
He sent ok. Then he sent stay home 6ish don't know if SDV wants it due to all the water.
Last thing he said was he was calling SDV.
I said I have an appointment in the morning.
Can't be in Conroe early.
Waiting for him to get back to me.
