The Tractor Supply in Porter said part time minimum wage yesterday. The Dollar General said part time minimum wage this morning. Both mentioned hard work and heavy lifting. I guy I met from another company where they are paid hourly and based in Humble gave his boss phone number and a place where as long as my blood pressure is ok they won't automatically ask for a sleep test.

I suppose driving into Humble and getting into their truck would be a step in the right direction.

I went and got the tool and took it to its home.
Then went and got a 496# crate and came to Manchester Terminal. Stuck here until at least after 1pm to get my paperwork done. Then who knows when I'll get unloaded.

Third day of three. I went on the order of the mechanic who was dispaching this morning. Three items. No.dimensions. I rather knew how it was going to be.
1 piece was about 7ft long and 2.5ft wide. Another was around 40"×40" and the last one was small. But if there was no way to stack them they wouldn't fit. And they would not stack them. He said he got authorization for a dry run. This was in Pasadena. Went from there to NW Houston for a pallet of paint going to FM 529 out about 1/3 of the way to Bellville. Where i went for the second run to Ceva. Then not too far to Argo Intl. For a pallet that went to Oxy Chem in LaPorte.

Never really sat still long enough to call the number I was given. Will try tomorrow.

Friday was kinda busy as well. Brought freight home because me and the guy at the place I was going mutually agreed that 5:30 wasn't kosher.
Got what I could of what was leftover from the tarp up over my room.
My sister gave me the same pill she always does and yesterday I couldn't keep my eyes open past 6:30.
At 2:45AM a lesser gully washer came through. My feet never got wet but the drips near the outside wall came.
The leftover freight delivers maybe 5 miles form the office.
So at least one thing works out right today.

On the way in a burned up trailer (reefer) had all but two lanes shut down on 59. Took 1.25 hours to get through it. On the way in he sent pick up Ceva and deliver to Demontrond. All day i was thinking just a little way up 45N. But when i finally got the Friday delivery done i got a better check than i expected. Not great by any stretch but better than i figured. Went across the freeway and got 9 cartons going to Cypress. Just outside the outer beltway (99) and above 290. Then i grabbed a 76# crate on the other side of 45 and took it to SDV. Then i went to Ceva. When i got the paperwork it said Texas City,TX.
Wasn't TOO bad getting there at 4:30. Bucky's at Texas City had diesel at 1.789 so for $55 i filled up. The truck may have made $115-125 today. Doesn't seem like enough but whatever.

I have a feeling i'm going to be royally scr*wd by Ceva.
The girl in Bellville swore Ceva told her we'd be there at 3pm and deliver today. Dispatcher says Ceva told him pick up today deliver tomorrow. I hauled *ss to get to the delivery anyhow. Got there 10 minutes too late.
Brought freight home. Get to fight my way to Katy in the morning.
