Would you give away a shower?

I do all the time at Love's since I have unlimited showers.

 

I got a free shower at the ontario, CA t/a that way. A local driver saw me feeding the machine and hooked me up.

 

I have never had anyone fail to say thank you.

 

Oh yeah, was at Sierra Sids in Reno a couple of year's ago. My company at the time didn't fuel there, so, no free showers. Was at the counter with cash in hand to buy a shower, when a owner op saw what was going on and said, put your money away, and bought me a shower. Since then, if I'm asked for a team shower, (they notice me cashing in a free shower), or I see some driver ready to buy one, and I got shower credits on my card, I'll buy them one.

 

Depends how many credits I have. If I only have 1 I'll pass. Any more and I'll happily give them away. One time I only had one I told the Pilot we were team drivers and I needed 2 showers. Gave the driver the second shower for the price of one.

 

Absolutely NOT.

I'll get home with 7 showers on my card and celebrate with champagne and caviar at the thought of people in need.

Aaah. Capitalism. He who dies with the biggest pile wins.

I used to offer them to others all the time. Last time I needed one, I was trying to feed notes into a stupid kiosk while 3 drivers stood silently waiting behind me.

For the question yes I would give a shower away, i normally have several built up since sometimes I get 2 fuel routes a day but nobody ever bothers me for one. There has been times in the past where I needed a shower and had no credits and had to pay so I wouldnt mind helping others in the same situation and if im going to get a shower too then just redeem a co driver.

 

Been there, done that. Little things mean a lot to someone who has nothing, no one, and nowhere to go.

 

Never done it and maybe will do it. If the person has the energy to bother others for a shower. They can find a Pen to fill out a application for the place providing showers or find other priority for their money. Why work? when others give stuff out for free. Other drivers a huge maybe, a Joe schmoe a complete bum no way.

 

Hey guys, don't forget about the lot lizards... they need to shower too!
