SPRING, Texas -- Deputy constables say Ronald Lee Haskell, 33, is facing multiple capital murder charges after he shot seven people, including children, at a home in Spring.

Haskell was transferred to a county jail overnight as the Harris County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable's Office released new information.

The shootings happened Wednesday at a home in the 700 block of Leaflet in the Enchanted Oaks subdivision.

"He came to this location yesterday afternoon – late – and came under the guise of a FedEx driver wearing a FedEx shirt," said Constable Ron Hickman. "…came to this residence, gathered up the children that were here and awaited the arrival of the parents. Sometime later the victims were shot in this residence, and we now learned that Mr. Haskell was married to a relative of the residents of this home."

Haskell's estranged wife lives out of state and was not at the home.

Authorities described the dead as two boys, ages 4 and 14; two girls, ages 7 and 9; a 39-year-old man; and a 33-year-old woman.

The sole survivor in the shootings, a 15-year-old female, told authorities the gunman was on his way to her grandparents' home to kill more relatives. The deputies beat him to that home and a standoff ensued.

Not sure if he was a driver but he's wearing the FedEx ground shirt that drivers usually wear...

and came under the guise of a FedEx driver wearing a FedEx shirt," said Constable Ron Hickman. "

? sounds like he was disguised as a fed ex driver

Whatever the case, what is wrong with this world? Killing kids? Are things really that bad?

    Prayers

I'm going to edit your title to add "former" as technically he is not an employee now so we shouldn't imply that. FedEx had no connection other than an old shirt. Truth be known they terminated him because he was a nut case.

This is just tragic and to involve innocent kids. How low can one get? I might add he is a coward. Hopefully Texas will expedite his stay on death row.

All I can think about is him killing those poor kids execution style and the 15 yr old girl witnessed it all. This will be with her for the rest of her life.I pray to the good lord above her condition gets upgraded to fair.I hope TX don't waste anytime putting this guy to death and while waiting for the walk to the chamber, put him in solitary confinement.
