This company is a classic bait and switch. All I can say from my experience is this was a bad choice to get a CDL. Totally wasn't what I was led to believe. The owner Jeff Needham is a real salesman and put the salesman ship on well making me feel like he was the bomb and his service was top notch. Jeff has a good gift to sell but the prosuct he is selling is not the same when you show up. The guy they call a trainer is real rude, a real A-hole, and yells at everyone making them feel like they are a piece of crap below him because he has a CDL license. he brags about it.
He seems to be an old fat alcoholic and a local country bum that the owner puts out ther in the truck to what they call train everyone. Very unprofessional yelling & cussing at everyone. He telss you his life stories and asks all kinds of personal questions that aren't neccessary. We were all trying to learn and it's hard to learn when you have someone saying you're a "f***in idiot" and "you are stupid', "listen to me god ######" " turn the f***in wheel more" " pull the f*** up to HERE", "I SAID HERE did you not here me G*d D*mn you don't listen" at everyone all morning.
Then there was what they call a class A CDL truck. The truck was a 1980 or so model old, rusted, back door missing panels, outdated and falling apart and plus the ttruck did not pass the inspection so we had to all reschedule to another week. My job depended on me getting my CDL quick; I asked for my money back and I was told they don't refund and the trainer laughed at me and told me to grow up and get a grip on life s*** happens. .
Due to I didn't have the extra money and I needed my CDL I was stuck with waiting another week and then I had to go back though the agony of listening to the wanna be fat alcoholic foul mouth trainer one more day yelling and his life lectures. I had no choice but to tuff it out. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did. This place sucks! Run from this place is all I can say. A scam artist and a clown they call the trainer run this place. I found out the owner Jeff is an ex prison guard that got fired for doing something crooked and then started this service and dabbles in other try to get rich schemes.

CDL Test Truck CDL Test Truck and Billy Bedford...Do not use. Total fake. Allen Texas
*Author of original report: Billy's Background

There has already been a very good post before this, so let me add some additional comments that will also make you think whether or not to use this guy.
The good thing?...One. He provides a truck and a trailer to take your CDL test. That's it. Now to some more important things.
Billy's real name is Edwin William Bedford. He alternates between Billy and Ed, never revealing his last name. There is a reason for this. Run a criminal background check on him. When you do business, he only takes CASH. The reason is he cannot have a merchant account because of his record. which invalidates a merchant account. (See his nice portrait from Collin County, Texas)
As the previous poster stated, he makes his money with FINES. You think that $250 is a great deal, but he tries to eat your back up with every possible fine you can imagine. When you go to test, take ALOT of cash money with you. Drag the trailer tires?...thats a fine that must be paid immediately. Hit a curb?...theres more money. And then his big thing is he emails a contract to you THE DAY BEFORE you test, which must be signed and returned before the end of the day. If it is not, CHA CHING....there is a re-schedule fee. If you are out of town, etc., he is banking you cannot get the form back to him in time and there is more money for him.
If you are offended by foul language and use his services, get ready to be offended. This man has probably the most profane and abusive mouth I have ever heard. Nothing is held back. He will have 4 or 5 people crammed into the truck and states anything he wishes and not afraid to offend anyone.
And the big thing that really ate me up. He is a "fake hero." When we all gathered in the truck, the first words out of his mouth were " I AM FORMER NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE, LT. COMMANDER IN SEAL TEAM 4." Well, I checked USNSWC records and there is no record of him ever having gone through BUD/s school (basic training for a SEAL). He also claims to have "personally taken down" Daniel Noriega in 1989 when the SEALs went into Panama to get him. I do know a former SEAL emailed him for basic information to confirm his SEAL credentials and Billy refused to answer.
OK, so lets presume he went into the Navy at 22 (he said he was an officer, so lets take the quick route of enlisting after college graduation and entering OCS), volunteered and entered pre-BUD/s and started SEAL training at 24 (after time in the fleet). OK, if he was commissioned an ensign, to reach Lt. Cmdr. would take approximately 10 years (with good conduct and 5X5 proficiency). This would put him in his early 30's. Now Billy is in his late 40's, so he would have been at Lt. Cmdr. around 1995-1997. OK, now on his web site he lays claim to 2 million miles driving experience in a T-T. OK, to do this would require him being at least 21 years old for interstate transportation and approimately 20 years Over The Road experience (at 100,000 a year). OK, so where did he find time in less than 30 years to go into the Navy, complete OCS, complete SEAL indoc and BUD/s, do at least 5 years time on a SEAL team and get 20 years OTR experience? WOW!
I won't even go into his civil history. He was even sued by Major League Baseball. That's all public record too.
So, to sum it up, I would stay away from this guy mainly because of his character (and it is public information) and his deliberate slap in the face to the brave fighting men and women of this country. It's an insult to them for him to even place himself in their category and he refuses to provide proof.
There are several other very reputable tractor-trailer rental companies in this area. One will even provide ONE ON ONE instruction with you for up to 2 hours and even have you drive the route that DPS uses. That and you do not have to put up with foul mouthed, unsavory individuals.
