llso me and my fiancee signed up for Steven's transport training at careers world wide in colorado. The school is in a small town called keensburg not much there but it has all you need for when your in school. Now the school itself is one of the best I believe, the staff is nice and as long as your there and you give 100% they will go out of their way to help you achieve your goal. I never thought I would be able to make it but I did and I am now about to be in week 3 of the 5 week tor training stevens gives you after school. I just want to thank CWW for all that they helped us with and if you want to get a CDL A I highly recommend Careers world wide and stevens transport.

NavigatorWife, pattyj and Chinatown Thank this.

Thanks, we finished the school about 3 weeks ago. Got hired on by stevens transport and we 're going through their 5 week OTR trainimg. The school was really good they taught us what we needed for the cdl test and a little more. As long as your willing to give em your all they will do the same for you. I back their school 100% and I back stevens transport from what I've seen so far. I will keep up to date info as we progress on this journey

    pattyj Thanks this.

It's a miracle of timing that I found you. I was looking at CWW after considering Stevens Tanker Division as a place to end up at. Looked like a lot of in truck time (150 hours total, 3 to 1 Student teacher ratio for the OTR portion.)

They posted that the Skills portion / OTR portion was 80 hr / 70 hrs, but there was a brochure that listed it as 100 / 50. What do you recall?

    Any local housing options?

I read an old post that pegged the cost at $4,500 financed or $2,800 cash. any info?

Anxious to see how Steven's OTR training "Phase 1 and 2" goes for you.
I thought I made an online inquiry, with no response, to see if any of the OTR phases could be with their tank division.

    Good Luck

PS went to school in Iowa City and wife is from Ottumwa.
