My understanding that was for experienced driver only. 2 1/2 days. Enlightened, that's what this forum is for and why I started this thread. Not just for me but other drivers. Truth be told it seems that it's more bickering than us as drivers helping each other. At the end of the day I need guys with the experience and know how. I've been OTR as a lease operator for two years. So I'm not wet behind the ears. At the same time I've been with one company and I don't know it all.

MLJ7 all we are saying is there are so many more carriers out there that have more attractive offers than USA. USA is a "beginner" carrier that offers low pay shotty equipemnt for the new trainees to get their CDL and into a truck. I dont know what area you are out of but in the general atlanta area there is Warner, Knight, Schneider, Central Ref (bought out by swift last i heard) that have better pay scales and equipment. but you said you did your research. From my general experience, the smaller the company the better off you are. find a mom and pop with decent freight, and they will mostly take care of you. I dont mean to insult you, but you said you got out of a lease purchase, that was a mistake....do you own the truck now. If not all you did is make their payment for them, and now they will "sell" it to someone else.
mlj7 Thanks this. -

Exactly, out of got sold the dream of owner operator. I can be honest. Actually, I did great my first year. Second year, UGH! The closer I got to purchase the worse communication with the company got. Any suggestions??
I have talked to a few guys that have been with them thru the lean years and have been there to see the new CEO and upper mgmt come in and they have good things to say. I have also talked to guys who have left. So I have heard both sides of the coin. -
Stile, how long ago was that? Not taking up for USA. Can't because I haven't even been thru orientation. Just gathering all the info I can.

Hell, I'd go to CR England over USA Truck. -
