Job Summary

The Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver will recover disabled vehicles. The role will assist in testing equipment and components. The Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver will comply with all applicable rules and regulations and follow specialized instructions as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license and have an excellent driving record
• Minimum 3 years Class A driving (CDL A) experience of commercial / heavy duty wrecker 
• Minimum 3 years of heavy load and oversized load hauling experience
• Minimum of 3 years of mountain and winter driving experience
• To be able to pass a DOT physical examination, DOT drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% 
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle weight displacement, limitations, and capabilities, when operating a heavy haul wrecker
• Knowledge of applicable laws related to the operation of the vehicle to ensure all necessary licensing and permitting is in compliance
• Good sense of direction with the ability to read maps and follow and take driving direction
• Ability to sit and drive for up to 11 hours per shift
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
