Sounds like you're the smartest guy on the planet. I'm glad your happy with your paper maps. But why do you find it necessary to put down people that find a more modern method preferable?

When such a thing actually exist then you may have something. As it stands now the industry is still 2 years out from anything consistent, much less worth $500.

If buying proto-types and unproven technology is your thing, the get right after it. The investors of such projects expect to see a return :biggrin_2559:

Smart enough to get where I am in life, smart enough to have aquired what I have without crutch's.
Doesnt take alot of "smarts" to run a truck down the street, thousands get away with it every day.

A box full of toys makes you smarter ?,Safer?
:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: Human evolution has indeed ceased to exsist.

You should watch that movie Wally, perfect for those
that need a simple example to clarify their "need".

Needy people are well proven to be "face value":biggrin_25514:

    As have I..

And a map book is a crutch as much as any other tool. Remember, a crutch, like a map, just helps you get from one place to another.

Maybe modern technology just intimidates you. That's okay, we're here to help. Just give the word..

    Is this guy serious?
I think he's just trying to get you going, as he sits on his computer, instead of sending up smoke signals.

Naah, the techno doesn't bother me nears as much as those that cant or refuse to function without such.
Ask the designers of this stuff and they'll tell you its for stupid people.

The last two generations are proof positive to the
backward slide of the human race.

    L A Z Y! period!!

Well, seeing that I have a degree in electrical engineering pretty much rules me out as being stupid.

Can I function without such technology? Sure. I grew up before the remote control. I still remember 8-track tapes even.

Like I said before, I use it as a tool.

Am I lazy? Some may say so.. I'm semi-retired and work about 4 months out of the year. Some might just say I'm lucky.

As for your post, I think you generalize way too much. Just because someone uses something that makes their job easier does not necessarily make them lazy. Some would say it makes them more efficient.

And to call two entire generations lazy is just plain ignorant.

For such a smart man (in your own mind) you sure do miss the point don't you? The point was that you don't do my job and I don't do yours therefore we shouldn't judge one another.

HOWEVER since you persist in your lovely yet childish ranting about other's "laziness" in choosing to use all the tools instead of just the ones approved by you (electronically challenged are ya) I have this to say:

No I don't do your job, but then again I'm not a donkey's rear end either.

That's two things that differ for us.
