So far we're running this week but terminals look like ghost towns. Pulling emptys too. Won't be surprised at all if it's another short week.

We went Nash to LA to Sacramento to Salt lake. Now on way to Dallas. Just send me home from Dallas and call it good

Nah ain't no laying off. I just don't like when they send me to dead spots like Houston. It's a known dead spot now. West Houston has all the freight. Estes has freight backed up in El paso going west but they refuse to send us there. They'll send you to Atlanta to starve. Crazy! That's why I'm looking to move to Dallas. No more east coast!

Definitely less than 1500 watts. lol Was thinking once solo using the top bunk as "storage" and the such. Depending how well I can set it up. But was gonna try to bungee it, or something like that, so it is "suspended" and not getting banged around. Though that might not be possible, or might be overkill. If it seems like too much of a hassle, OR, I am worried about moving gear from one truck to another. I'll probably go laptop. Thinking of it. That may be the easier way. Even if sadly it would cost me more. I built my PC for 800.00 a laptop of the same quality is gonna be probably double. I dunno.

When I got into Houston and went to bed, I called once my 10 was up and central was like, oh you should have known that they don't close their trailers down till 11pm. How am I supposed to know that as a new driver??

My laptop has a 65 watt charger and runs fine in the stock plug on this 2020 Pete. I think it's a 1500 or 2000 watt inverter under bunk. Not 100% sure.

I looked into it already as I been browsing. I recently got a Lenovo c940 14in 2in1 on sale for 1200. I wanted for battery. It has a lower end Nvidia. Haven't tried gaming on it.

    I should have went with a Leigon. They got a 15.6in FHD with 16gig ram and a Nvidia RTX 2060 1TB SSD for $1400. 9th gen i7.

I prolly am going order something like that and just dock it to a monitor. This way if I wanna go mobile I can.

That was the BS part of the extraboard. You get up off your 10 and then sit away waiting for 6 more hours. Then they wanna move you for 14 hours and your tired.

My thing was why the F you send me here knowing I'm do up at 2 but you can't move me till 11. How about some detention pay.

Not my problem you don't have freight for me. It's your so PAY me. Or better yet let's get empties somewhere else.

That was one good thing I could say about ABF. If they left you in the hotel, you would start getting paid after 14 hours. Eagan Minnesota was notorious for frequent 24-hour stays in the hotel. It sucked, and it got old, but it was decent money for no work.

Better have some coffee when you have to drive, though.
