Dang, I pay $55 a month for unlimited 24/7. The coverage is a little lacking out in the country but it's well worth it to avoid a bill that high. That's what Skype is for anyway.
-
Boost has ya beat.... $50 -
I was trying to get away with my old $100 some odd plan... but I only get 23 hours a month anytime minutes, and i used 85 last month... it's hard to believe.
Luckily I have some options, I inherited this cell package from my father years ago and he died a couple years ago. It may be time for a change if they don't bring that way down when I call tomorrow. -
That's what mine is. I counted the tax.
-
We are paying the same...but the beanies have increased.
I have to pay $80 due to deal worked out to cover moms phone, my sister picks up the rest. It's her package, and I promised her no bill larger than her original....which was $49.
And it was my idea to tether mom with a cell phone. Now if we could just convince/train her to put the #### thing in her pocket when she walks out the door, and works in the yard. -
I pay $60 for my Virgin Mobile, with unlimited minutes and 1000 texts, and its CDMA. It still doesn't work everywhere my wife's AT&T phone does, but its good enough for now.
That stupid AT&T phone costs us $108 for something we almost never use. She has 900 anytime minutes, and has accumulated 6000 rollover in 11 months. The next lower plan takes her unlimited nights and weekends away, and she has to have the stupid data package because she has a Palm Centro.
Boost and VM are getting it right, whats wrong with the contract carriers? -
AT&T will have to get it together, and much cheaper for me to go the whole package route. -
I have 10 "my circle" numbers, and I haven't assigned but 3/4 of those numbers to friends and family. Most of the people I call already have Verizon or Alltel, so those calls are already free. I do have my dispatcher assigned to one of the my circle numbers which saves me a ton of minutes every month. -
I have 39 programmed numbers. Brokers, customers, dispatch, friends, family.
We've NEVER used all our minutes, we always have roll overs.
It's a no brainer, AT&T has the largest network. I'm showing 193 hours on this phone, since purchased last year in May. Which should clearly show that the majority of my calls are to AT&T customers, and don't apply against my 400 minute plan.
I would be hard pressed to use another carrier. Or at the very least...dead broke.
