Going to reply to my own post. To say I was pleasantly surprised by the compensation I received for that screwed up load would be a massive understatement. I’m shocked. Got a phenomenal dispatcher!!

Once again Millis proved to me I would have been an idiot to go any other route in getting my CDL.

    JOHNQPUBLIC and keen98 Thank this.

Yeah, my GPS has me going in on 287, but the suggested Millis route was o er the GW, so that was my question. Opie has me pre-planned for a New Brunswick load. Now I see why he wants me to get to Coke earlier, so I can make that 1500 appt in New Brunswick. Hate places that waste our time.

I'm surprised the Millis suggested route is over the GW because the toll on it 1 way with a truck is like $50. Sometimes there are reasonable alternatives like in this case to avoid the tolls that but who knows.

Don't hold your breath on making your pick up after coke on time unless you can get there real early and have a little luck once there. Their reviews on Google are mostly all bad and say the same general thing. I left one of those bad reviews.

No one will be picking up at Miller in Milwaukee the rest of the week...

It’s a $100 now, depending on the time of day they have congestion pricing.

Well, I'm getting there two hours before my appointment. Now I can understand opies urgency, but if I go even earlier, I'll have to stay overnight at the shipper for sure or PC out (unless the shipper is a rare quick one).

The GW was in my route suggestion too. They've been different with that lately. I don't know if it's because of Heartland or what.

Is it normal for the route suggestion to say to take the PA Turnpike when going from Trenton to Freehold, NJ? Because mine did a couple of months ago.

They seem to be routing a lot of Milwaukee’s Miller loads through Trenton. Plan for a good hour or 2 if you have to pick up a load there this weekend. Never seen the place so busy,
