Couldn't agree more, that's why I am trying to start at the base of the issue, carbon BOLs. What is the point of holding onto paper for 10+ years if it can be maintained digitally?
Administrative inefficiency occurs from process gone awry and becoming the core of an organization, not a tool to improve it. From my extremely limited experience, the industry can only prepare for the quickly approaching shifts if it releases the information it has in its thousands of silos and wasting away in filing cabinets.
One last thing before I step off my soapbox... Don't tell anyone but I think "blockchain" is cool and everything, but BitCoin is struggling pretty hard and FinTech is throwing billions at it, and is a secondary technology being used to distract the industry.

Completely agree, but the Post-9/11 GI Bill is a fantastic resource and the thought of putting on big boy pants again is kinda scary
