The coolent is leaking not a lot but seeping from the radiator cap and the hose that goes into thereservoir. Last year had water pump replaced this month had a coolent flush. Truck is holding coolent levels fine not overheating or anything but before I face a legit breakdown trying to figure this #### out btw it’s a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia w/501,525miles. I’m suggesting it’s either the radiator capneeds replacing of thermostat hopefully it’s sum like that on the inexpensive side before I drop a fewthousand into a radiator please let me kno sum

It’s only leaking from these two areas no where else recently had head gasket repairs at dealership last week and few other things done they did drop the coolent fluid and replaced a coolent line to engine filled it back up up with 50/50 mix n it was good n still been good haven’t had any pre existing problems and no current issues either just trying to narrow it down plus there’s (NO codes or check engine lights on) nothing on my JPRO in regards to this or the ECM report from dealership

Nahh it’s jus the angle and lighting of the photo n yep level still good I check it daily it’s above the minimum but below the max on a cold motor it’s stays at same level on a hot motor it’s a little higher but obviously for it to b coming out the cap ya kno.. but all in all it’s never dropping to low where I’m topping it off regularly

yea but is it a new head and new head bolts or did you just replace the head gasket

Check the rubber seal on the reservoir cap is intact. The clamp on the hose going into the radiator and the reservoir just need to be tightened. Those bolts will loosen overtime on the DD15. Also, do not overfill the reservoir. Check your coolant in the morning and make sure it’s below the “cold” line.

Replace the cap. Pull the hose off and check to see if has grit under it. Also check the hose, seems to have a bit of a bulge at the clamp. New hose is a cheap fix.
