Could be a dirty container as @062 said. Or could actually be diesel in the def. Contaminated pump or supply, or possibly even another trucker doing you a favor. Hard to say anything without being there

062, daf105paccar and spsauerland Thank this.

Unfortunately you probably legitimately had diesel in the DEF. There's a larger issue at play here that needs to be investigated.

Hello, i have a simple question, recently i had a breakdown and had to tow my truck to the nearest kenworth dealer, i paid out of pocket for the towing services, my truck is still under the paccar warranty and covered the repair but i did not know that could also cover the towing service as they never told me that when i purchased the truck a month ago, so i am trying to get reimbursement for the money i paid for towing but the lady at the dealership told me that is not possible because it had to be done before and through them, they also told me that they don't have a warranty manager, i contacted kenworth customer service and they told me that i should be able to get the reimbursement and to call the dealer again, i honestly don't know what else i can do, is there some kind of solution for this? Thanks for your help.

    What was the repair?
How many miles / months in service is the vehicle?
You had it towed to a KW dealership, is it a KW vehicle or a Peterbilt?
If it's a Peterbilt, I'm assuming you had it towed to a KW dealership because of a MX engine failure?

    062 and daf105paccar Thank this.

The repair was a bad oil pressure sensor, it is a kenworth t680 with paccar mx13 engine and 172000 miles on it.

We are having issues with Paccar mx 13 Peterbilt 2019 579
    Transmission fault when wet
And oil leaking from blow by tube.

Peterbilt replaced oil cap under warrenty.
Had to replace engine wiring harness not covered under warrenty.
However we bought all the extended warrenty possible.
Was told it was a chassis wiring harness therefore not covered. We should of bought chassis warrenty.
We where never offered chassis warrenty and cant even find a chassis warrenty.
The bill came to 5600.00 and said engine wiring harness.

I week later having both the same issues. After everything was repaired. And 5 days down time.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Laurie

The tow bill should be covered. Push the issue with the dealership. Not having a warranty manager is their problem not yours. Keep pushing it, otherwise call Kenworth and ask to have it escalated with a service rep
