I've met with one road block after another, my last ditch effort is to put the car to work and start doing courier work.
Where do I find small packages needed fast delivery across country ?
What do I charge ?
I'm willing to drive night and day to get it there ASAP.
Deliver it, pick up some other package, drive somewhere else.
So the question is how do I find small loads that will fit in my car and what do I charge ?
Can I expect say $1 a mile ?
Do people pay upfront ?
Paid on Delivery ?
What's the standard so I can at least be in the ballpark
Thanks
Moose.
Can't wait to get started.

So you want to compete with Fed Ex, UPS, DHL and the USPS using your car.

Small packages that need to get across the country ASAP usually ride in an airplane.

My son was delivering auto parts with his pickup but the money wasn't that good for the amount of fuel and mileage he put on his truck .

Needless to say that was the end of that, and now I'm in a bind. Which is better than paying someone to work for them I suppose.D.Tibbitt and FoolsErrand Thank this. -
Still. I admire OP's enthusiasm and drive for ideas.
You never know.
Some of them, for some of them naive kids, as we older pricks want to see them, will work.
