5 hours got it done. Got 39 on the drives and 41 on trailer I tried, but still legal on permit of course.
To top it off, I was just informed that the customer can’t receive it. They can’t figure out how to unload it. So I’m taking it to our Jacksonville yard for the time being. Got a last minute permit update
All that work, And I can’t bring it to conclusion. F me

I have recovered 5 or 6 excavators with a winch tractor in the early 80's using this method.Linte_Loco, FerrissWheel, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
To top it off, the guy called me around 8 Saturday morning while I was on my way to our yard and said bring it. I’m not sure how the charges worked and what the consequences were for the people shipping it to him. But they said to store it because customer had to figure it out. Hence the permit change.
I told the scale guy in FL the situation because I really didn’t care, the guy said come on. And he said he wouldn’t sign my old permit and cover my butt. But he did say there are no more scales to Ocala via my route and as long as it wasn’t scanned yet, I should be fine.
I called my people and they said no. Just take it to yard. Couldn’t get hold of Brian I from Hausby (seller)
I just dropped it and blocked it good and left a few securements and took pics and emailed everybody.
Im home for 4 days. Screw em I wanted to do it, I’m just not taking the chance with FL DOT. The scale man wouldn’t give me a definitive yes. I still might end up doing it. That’s fineSoap stone, beastr123, SAR and 3 others Thank this. -

@JonJon78 got some pics of my light bar bracket for u !
This first pic shows looking upwards towards the top of where the light sits on. Those 2 brackets are bolted into the square tubing on the left . And that square tubing is then bolted onto the frame of the headache rack.
This pic is reverse angle of first pic and shows u where those corner brackets are bolted into on the square frame
Looking downwards from the top of the headache rack u can see where the square frame for the lightbar is bolted to the frame of the headache rack .
Here is an overall picture of it. Shouldnt be to hard of a job to put it together for urself. The only welded piece is the corner brackets on upper left and right side which is welded to the platform which the light sits on top of. Everything else is just drilled holes and bolted togetherPoleCrusher, SAR, booley and 3 others Thank this.
