how about the computers that did not have a screen but a teletype paper feed. and to play games on it you had to run a paper tape through a reader to program the game. and in a seperate room was the mainframe that was kept air conditioned below 70 degrees 24/7 year round. the hard disc was in a machine that looked like it had multi layered LP discs, or there was many large reel to reel magnetic tape machines recording everything done.
i also remember that programing early electronic PCs took using the hex decimal language, like the H-88 by heathkit.

    Baack Thanks this.

I'm so old I can remember when Tandy introduced the Color Computer. LOL You saved to a cassette tape.

I'm also so old I can remember when you had dinner with your family and there was no texting, emails, cell calls or anything but conversation and dining.

Oh gosh I'd forgotten about the commodore. LOL We were SO proud when we got a tandy color computer. My Mama and Daddy gave it to me so I could do medical billing from home. We were the envy of our friends.

Had a Tandy 1000 with no hard drive and dual floppies. No mouse. MS-DOS

Also had a Texas Instruments computer that used cassette tapes as a hard drive.

I remember the Commodore Vic 20. What about the Apple II?
