I’m pretty sure around that time people where worried about hiding under a desk during a nuclear blast.

One could say they didn’t run out to buy desks all of sudden but hey your generations fascination of a desks underside could be the old “run out to get tp” of the new generation.

People all in a panic, elbow to elbow, fighting over goods, spreading the virus, like a self fulfilling prophecy.

My local Costco did not have any eggs or water last night and the Michigan schools are closing on Monday. The panic is real!

They just showed a store in Commerce Two. Shelves cleaned out, All the produce is gone. I guess they’re going to freeze it? Lol. I don’t get people’s reasoning. I took this week off. I should have worked. Headed out Monday, don’t know what to expect. I just did the OH, and insurance renewal is due. Really cutting it close. The revenue barely justifies effort. It’s going to get a little bit tricky in the next few weeks.

IN and OH are closing schools also, so probably every state will follow. Tons of parents will be sitting home, so who the hell is gonna be working?
I have a feeling they will move the April 15 tax deadline, freeze mortgage payments or do something else like that

I’m thinking hazardous pay is warranted. If I’m going to expose myself delivering dry goods, while everyone’s in shut down mode, safe in their homes. Food, supplies that got to go, got to pay. Already dreading dealing with the crackhead Lumpers, they usually look sick on a good day.

The panic is not warranted yet.
It will be when there are stacks of coffins awaiting burials.
For now, all this is a self inflicted fear game.

I tell you our great grandparents would turn in their graves, if they knew how we react to this thing.

There'll be eggs and water. There is enough grains, cattle and swine herds to produce food
Poeple just need to keep working.

All of sudden, every one needs supply of tp and water for another 18 months. No wonder they can't keep up with resupplying.

Everyone should pull as much cash as possible out and keep it on hand. Sometimes when things get kind of crazy, cash is king.

I've thought about pulling my cash out before it drops anymore.

I'm looking forward to my upcoming home loan. Lowest rates since the recession.
