Ran TN to PA to AL to NC to TN. 4 day turn, 4 grand. I didn't add up my CPM but it's about average for lately where I run. $2 per mile average all miles. I saw no evidence anywhere I was of anything to do with the 'epedimic'. No lines, no panic, no drama. I don't listen to the news anymore. I'm much happier.
The highlight of the week was my fuel fill up was $100 less than usual. How the hail is the world panicking and the stock market crashing but diesel is cheap? Seems backwards.
It was only when I came home that family and neighbors are bombarding me with all of the pics of cleaned out store shelves, etc.
Not worried. Taking a week off and headed to the beach. Ready for a TP load when I get back.Dave_in_AZ and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
Wife went shopping last night at an independent grocer. She said it was a little busier than normal, but nothing earth shattering. Shelves were stocked with full.
Bah Humbug. -
I drove through Seattle Wednesday morning at 8:AM and there were no traffic slow downs for rush hour at all. Came through Portland at 5
M later that day after picking up a load and no slow downs until I got south of the city. I wish it was like that all of the time.
I wonder if beer and wine loads are considered "essential" products for the current emergency? I'd like to be exempt from some of the HOS rules. -
The rule exemption is pretty ambiguous, who determines what are "goods necessary for the relief of the public"?
