All the casinos in Las Vegas and the whole state of Nevada are closed due to the virus.
I love southern Nevada and moved here mainly to get away from harsh winters.
Plenty of tanker work in warm states such as Texas, Arizona, Nevada.

I hate ice and snow. I did one year and one month of winter driving around Michigan up to Northern Wisconsin

On one particular trip up to a hole in the wall dairy in northern Wisconsin I got detoured off my normal backroad route.

Next thing I know I am climbing giant hills on skinny 1 lane roads in the middle of no where at 2 in the morning .

After climbing the 3rd giant hill and flying down the backside of the previous 2 Way too fast I crested the 3rd and stopped.

It is a ski slope drop and covered in ice .

I stop and sit on the brakes and weigh my options. Oh wait there is no options other than get out of the truck and run. No place to turn around and no way to back down the giant hill i just climbed in the pitch dark.

So I decide I am going to stand on the brakes and ease down this hill at 2 mph. That worked the 1 st 100 feet and than I started sliding.

With steep ditches on each side I let off the brakes and clenched onto the wheel.

Only one way out of this mess, ride it out and what ever you do don't touch the brakes. .

It got Super scary being I was hitting 65 mph by the time I hit the bottom of the hill and started the coasting climb up the next hill that thankfully was not iced over or steep.

I got the truck stopped and backed back down to the intersection I had just barreled through and decided any direction but forward was the way to go

Changed my shorts and hung a left and crept my way down the road.

I'm thinking Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. Nevada works too. I miss living in Southern California, but want my money to go further than a 1 bedroom apartment. One winter driving here has been enough. Chaining up sucks and the equipment is always filthy. This area is pretty depressing in my opinion also.

Prefer local or regional. I can't live in a truck.

LTI has load priority over us. So I hate them. :violent3:

Since you have Tanker and Hazmat, have you thought about hauling fuel locally?
