Wow! It happened again yesterday.
I pulled a hopper bottom over to Annapolis, MO. Pulled on the scale, backed into the loading area, pulled back onto the scale, drove back to the receiver, maneuvered into the unloading area, delivered the load, and absolutely nothing else happened and the truck and trailer still has everything attached to it and in the same condition it was when I left that morning.
Who knew?
lmao, j/k Rob

My shaker has the stupidest system i've ever seen. it has the solinoid on the starter but then another solinoid/relay on the firewall. that's what gave out on me last month. a wire corroded and broke off the terminal. I'd get a small click from that relay when i'd turn the key but no big click from the starter solinoid because that was the wire that was broken -

The starter and solenoid is like a telescope, the solenoid is on the side riding parallel facing front.
I bridged it, and it just spun but didn't turn the engine.
I did it again and got massive sparks, a small fire, and the end of my screwdriver chewed off.
Guess I'm calling a wrecker and hoping for an advance. -
You need to jump a wire from the big batter cable to the small signal wire on the solinoid.
If it starts you got a prob between the key and starter. If it clicks and don't start its a bad solinoid. Usually can tap it till it starts.
You need the key on or truck will spin but not start -
I called the place that put my starter in. They're sending a guy out with a new starter in hand to save on a wrecker bill.
Either way I should get going today I hope. I'm going to have to find some money. -
If the just put one in it should be under warranty
Its their baby not yours. And they know it. If it was yours they would send a wrecker -
This was my first main shop that I really like. I just haven't been back there in a couple months because I found a couple closer places. -
