I recently bought a 379 with a c15 Acert that has a pdi single turbo kit and manifold. Was told that the ecm was also tuned by pdi. My question is
Is it normal to have a check engine light on after these things have been done?
C15 accert with pdi single turbo question???????

Pull the codes and address the issue. Only normal if the computer wasnt reprogrammed to acomodate the single turbo. But it sounds like it was. Use the cruise control to pull the odes and then google the codes for what they mean on cat ecm. or post the codes here
magoo68 and Deere hunter Thank this. -
How do you use the cruise to pull the codes. I’ve never had a truck this new. -
With the ign on. Cruise swith in off position. Hold set/resume for 5 seconds. The check eng light will start flashing a series of codes.. the first set flashes will be the first number. Then a short pause followed by another series of flashes. Count the first and second set of flashes. That's the code.
If your confused just Google it. Its perty common knowledge .SAR, pushbroom, spsauerland and 1 other person Thank this. -
#### I knew that just didn’t even think about it thanks for reminding me! Our county is on stay at home and the truck is parked somewhere else so may be a while before I get up there to do that haha.

Okay so I finally got to mess with the truck the other day and the code it flashes is 55. I looked up and everything I find say that means there is no code. So why an engine light then? how do I clear it of or can I?
-
The cruise switch only shows active codes. Most likely yours in inactive when the truck inst running so it shows 55. When the engine is running, code becomes active. Will have to get it on a laptop to see what the check engine light is about
