a truck doing 55 in cali......oh my the end is near!

 

I am not picking on you, let me say that first.

that clerk at the grocery store is due all the protection they can get - both physical and psychological - in performing their job. Be thankful that they chose to show up for work.
While everyone can cavalier about this entire deal - when it comes to their personal health and safety you can bet your ### they want all the protection they can get.

yes it is an inconvenience and a disruption to everyday life but it is all things that are manageable. ##### about it if you want but the evidence says there are real consequences

all oversize loads in AZ are subject to a 55 mph speed limit. It one of the few things that really piss off the state police when traveling in AZ and one they will definitely write you a ticket for.

 

I was legitimately scared for a few days that I had transmitted something to them and didn’t know it.

 

Starts with A I bet !

 

Continuous travel, only 10 wide with a little rear overhang.

Yeah I had to set my cruise at 55. Don't like using it with a load like this, but my habit is to ease my speed up on down grades then easy on the throttle on the up grade. Years of driving a certain way is hard to break in a day.

Had a state patrol get behind me west of Flagstaff and pace me for about 5 miles. Was sure glad when he went on his way.

 

Never meet a Az trooper with a good attitude. Or it could just been my attitude !! Either way it was always a pain ! I'm pretty sure they are trained to be a P. R. I. C. K.

 

Slim pickens up 77 & 79 into Erie, PA. They paid full for them 2 driveshafts & were open till 2200 so I just dumped them. Would have liked to double dip on this load, but some ya win some you don't.. Gonna be a long weekend, hate sitting Sat & Sun..

I now see what you high boys been complaining about. I usually do better up in this area, but the boards look weak. Couldn't even pre book anything for Mon yet.. & here I was whining about the Carolinas, yet they kept me rolling.. Grass is always greener huh..
