I’m the one that posted that video. That’s rough. Hope he caught it early enough? He’s a tough mofo.
I just watched the one where they talk about how he lost his arms.

It was made with leftovers...

The mushroom sauce is sautéed onions in butter and olive oil....when they are starting to turn toss in fresh sliced mushrooms. Couple minutes put in a little sauvignon Blanc and reduce by half. Then add cream....if I'm making a bigger batch I'll add in a 1/4 block of cream cheese so I don't wait so long to reduce the cream to thicken some. Sometimes I add fresh grated parmesan depending what I am using it for.

We had leftover steamed hamburger and chopped some fresh mushrooms and black olives. The crust is Cresent rolls in a tube. You can Google it. There is a ton of recipes to make them in a circle with different things. I grated provolone and parmesan on top of the crust. We put the leftover mushroom sauce over the top when we ate it. It was good.

We found out yesterday mama's aunt had Angelo's bread recipe from Angelo's pizza in Sterling/Rock falls Illinois so we made some today. Having spaghetti.... Made the sauce with San marzono tomatoes and roasted red peppers.

 

Yeah I think they caught it early enough. I guess over a year now he was having trouble swallowing food and started losing weight. He decided to get it checked out and that's when they found a couple spots.

He has overcome a lot in his lifetime and this is just a little speed bump for him. He'll do just fine.

So just incase this stuff goes really bad. We prepared tonight's depression dinner of hot dogs over the fire with hamburger buns before they went stale.

This kid catches on fast, it was only milk.
