You must not have varmits up in northern Florida.....

I have seen a dead bobcat laying in the middle of card sound road... And they think pretty highly of them key deer.....

Little tip....ya tell mama to watch her speed when ya stayed to long at captain tony's and ya need to be in Marathon before check in...

If ya beat on the side widow of the office they'll check ya in and give ya a key....they don't necessarily like it but they get over it....

You can go to a tire store that does farm equipment. They will get 4 or 5 open tractor rims that don't hold air per year and can be had for scrap price or less
The galvanized steel can give off poisonous gas if the fire gets too hot. As long as the wheel is less than 50 years old the paint is safe.

You got that right! Well time to hit the hay, need to get up early and put the ribs on the grill. ;)
Thank you! I'll share some photos later of what I've done. I pretty much got the landscaping finished around the house.

I never thought about that with the fire rings. Rule use to be drink a glass of milk before ya welded galvanized.... Personally I always stood outside and watched someone else weld it....explains alot about my brother-in-law...

Actually, it's just a steel ring and landscape stones that I removed from the front of the house. I did dig out the ground and back fill with sand and river rock to level it in sloped yard so your wieners dont roll way.

Edit. I should have read ahead. Cane covered this.

You would never have to replace that metal. Well as a fire ring anyhow.
