Dont be picky, I never cared at all what's in the trailer as long as I'm getting paid. You can worry about getting your ideal job after you've got some money coming in.

 

Not sure what all this company offers, but does run west & hires NC drivers.

Sheesh these days who don't advertise a lot? Lol my buddy says they have a large freight base, lots of customers. Maybe they need more drivers to cover the freight who knows but you get em how you get em

 

It's interesting to see you say that, because it leads me to recall my own experience prior to signing on with my present employer. I initially wanted to do specialized and work my way into heavy haul once I knew I was coming back OTR, so I came on TTR looking for companies, found two, and a third one showed up in my Facebook news feed I'd never heard of before. Before last year I'd never heard of the company I work for now, either--but after all the research and searching I did, I couldn't find hardly anything, which I took to be either really good or really bad. Well i applied to all of them, spoke with the recruiters, but like you said (and I applaud you for recognizing that), my present company, despite not paying the best cpm of the three nor offering a sign-on bonus, was the only one I actually felt a peace about. I learned that lesson last year and oh my God has it paid off.

All of which is to say, and I share this with people all the time...it ain't always about the best $. That's definitely a consideration, but for me, not the final determining factor. There's so many other factors involved but again, at the end of the day, I went with the one I felt a peace about, and it's rewarded me handsomely.

Know this: there's no price tag you can put on your peace. None.
