So I have been counting the days I physically attend school, I think I'm up there between 17-19 days. Anyway, I have a somewhat handle on my offset and alley is improving day by day. My pre-trip, with the exception of the in-cab is solid. I asked to do some road driving with my instructor who agreed with the condition that I master the pre-trip. Fair enough. My point here is, I'm to renew my permit by 5/10, and , as we all know, the DMVs are closed. So I'm taking this situation as a motivator to test by 5/1-5. I think it's doable, I'm hyped, and I believe that WE are going to be in high demand in the coming weeks/months

All CDL and CLP expirations are supposed to have been extended to June 30 by the FMCSA. Call your state to verify.

May I suggest you keep updating an existing thread? Starting a new one every time there's something to report makes it difficult for us to follow your progress. Just an idea.

    Sirscrapntruckalot and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Yes its easier to maintain one thread of your own. People will come and go.

As they say you are good until June 30th but check with your state constantly. We are not in normal times right now.

Don;t think for a minute that you will be in demand when you get out of school. Your first year is going to be the worst of your future trying to hire on. Particularly with a entire 2020 class graduating into a workforce that no longer exists anymore right now. (Including college) the only people in demand are student doctors and interns being put into the hospital front lines as they are before formally being graduated to become actual doctors. The pressing need for them as battle replacements have made this necessary.

This year will be the worst in our Nation once the full economy losses take hold.

This was my very first post. It was named, appropriately, Day 1. Hope this helps. Just Passing by is right, I should have kept it under one thread....

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.
