I like my job for the most part. They've never used or threatened forced dispatch before. Just curious if its legal thanks
Does anyone know if a nonessential company can do forced dispatch?

Unless a company has it in the driver handbook or hiring paperwork that there's "no forced dispatch", then it's legal.

Look I put in over 20 yr OTR thankful y'all out there doing it now. But I am done with that. I run locally and have plenty of offers to go elsewhere.. I really like my job where I am but always old school when threatened I have the cdl I choose when and when not to turn the key.

Don't like it? Then you better have a powerful reason behind that NO. One that they cannot argue with. And prepare to be discarded anyway for refusal to work.
