You better sign on with a flatbed company that runs sheetrock out of Quanah or Duke, otherwise you'll never get home

Well I'm planning reefer out of either DFW or OKC. Most likely FFE.

My first day in Beth Steel with a 18 wheeler steering wheel in my hands with 3 people watching me carefully and one instructor across the dog house. And a empty highway ahead. (Mill property, hardly any traffic if at all)

Gee, now I finally learn to drive today for the first time. Gosh why is everyone looking at me like that, what did I do already?

Did I do the right choice learning to be a trucker? Augh.

SHe jerked and leaned into first gear and stayed at red line while I ground second.

    Instructor could care less.

    WTF?

Totally agree with ya... Just steer the trailer... After a while you dont even think about it.

If I try to consciously think about which way to turn the wheel while backing up... Well, lets just say Swift aint go nothing on me when I try that... Lol

That's why while backing I grab the bottom and while moving forward the top. Then I don't have to think. Just steer. At least it's always worked for me.

I've delivered to Duke. Seems like a good flatbed gig hauling out of there.
They build those drywall factories on top of gypsum mines. Always out in the boonies.

no . it confuses me. same thing when somebody is standing at back in my mirrors, telling me which way to put trailer..confusing.... hey just tell me where it needs to go and ill get it done....then ya get the guys that bust my balls in the truckstop because i do 115 pull ups , getting in a spot... they say man, ya had it in there the first time.... yeah well , my spread axle dont like it when ya put it at a steep angle, gets hard to turn and will scrub the tread right off the tires if u get to crazy with it....if ya ever get the chance, watch a western express flatbedder back in the spot and watch how much that spread axle tips the front of the trailer over, and the god awful sound of tires scrapping on the asphault....hey im always grateful for the help , but i promise i wont hit ur truck... i put this trailer in a lot of crazy jobsites that would make alot of east coast reefer warehouses look like childs play
