Surprising to me. Seems way more political then many ah “political” threads that weren’t even political. @Scooter Jones 8 week slide one comes to mind.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. We're aware that there's a difference between political and governmental and that's usually how we determine where a thread is displayed.
We don't have the staff or the time to catch everything that's wrong but we try.
In the mean time, if you don't like the way we moderate this forum you're more than welcome to find another venue that suits you better.

Really? And you accept that ? People work for them, so they can get as much money is possible while an employee makes pennies, no job secure, no insurance , no benefits and when you retire you can’t live with retirement pension....... and you agreed with that?

Working for no benefits, no insurance, pennies, no retirement, no job security, is voluntary.
I don't have a problem with anyone becoming rich; they took the risks involved and succeeded.
As far as the rest of us, we choose or not choose, to work for companies that have no benefits, low pay, no retirement, no healthcare benefit, etc. If we choose to work for companies like that, then we suffer the consequences later in life.
Some people have priorities in the wrong order. "I want a small mom & pop company so they know my name and screw the benefits."

You're right and I tried to change my headline, but the tax break is still a nice chunk.

There’s a big difference between a tax break and a tax credit.

There was once two boys together throughout grade school. All through high school, one young fellow did what was expected of him, behaved himself, studied hard, was ambitious, and learned a trade. Within 10 years he started and gradually built up a company, employing hundreds. The company was prospering and so was he. By the time he retired he was multi-millionaire.

The other young lad, had the same opportunities available to him, but he decided to disobey his parents, make bad decision after bad decision, thought studying and hard work was for chumps, dropped out of high school, and subsequently has found little in the way of good paying job opportunities. Of course, he blames not himself, but "the system" and "rich people" for his woes.

So, let me ask you this, why should the fellow that made something of himself (millionaire), through a life of hard work, ambition, and good decisions, be forced to share his hard earned wealth with the 'ner do well that, even though he had the same opportunities, caused his own problems and refused to own them.

You see, unlike communism and socialism, everyone, not just a select few in charge, in a free Capitalist country has the same opportunities to succeed or fail. That separation my friend is what makes this country great.....
