LOL, fixed. I get a little fired up. ;)

Tired of apologizing for being successful. Or feeling like I have to hide it so others don’t get butt hurt. I started with nothing. And I have sibling older who does nothing and is a victim. Yes, he has nothing as well. I just get so tired of it man.

Biggest issue is Corporate bailouts , how is it billion dollar companies need my tax dollars? If I dont build up a surplus of cash (Maintenance fund ) for my business and I go under than I'm considered a bad business man or someone who shouldn't be a O/O . Yet these huge corporations run the ship a ground over and over and get bailouts and than write themselves bonus checks with tax dollars. There is no victim game going on this is what's taking place .
The opposite can be said for the huge German Energy company my wife works for , they believe in slow strong growth and holding little debt . They are also positioned to take a huge loss if necessary because they plan for the worse . Rewarding failure over and over again in its simplest terms is idiotic . Ok I'm out of this thread you fellas enjoy the trucking on my way to Oregon.

Hey, not that it matters but I don’t disagree with anything you just said there. In person I’m sure you and I could drill down into a lot more agreement then disagreement. Be safe driver.

I hear you, like you, I started with nothing and was given nothing, except a chance at succeeding. Through hard work, I'm where I am today, not a millionaire, LOL, but successful. I've made bad decisions along the way, have made costly mistakes, and have gone through tough times, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I have no problems with giving a helping hand to anyone, but there's a big difference between a helping hand and a perpetual hand out for those who outright refuse to work, all at the expense of others.

Like @Chinatown said, you choose to work for someone or are free to find something better. Blaming others (rich people) for ones own shortfalls is not the answer, not in my book anyway...

This isn't what I was referring too earlier, but you make a valid point, no disagreement on my part. It's kinda like it's ok for the mega corporate "farms" to get government bail out money (our tax dollars) to continue operations, but these same megas see nothing wrong with putting the mom & pop true farms out of business....

If one is to wait long enough the real story comes out.

Paul Harvey would have had a field day with this. "The Rest of the story." Hes gone passed some time ago and had some very famous radio broadcasts including his seminal if the Devil Ran America in the mid 60's IF there was a Devil in America.

I have some very strong feelings right now both ways and frankly I choose to keep them off here. I will say that we are doing the best we can with what we have trying to be in a position that there is no relative poverty, needy or debt (Particularly once the medical debt was paid last month... that was something else)

Making do with no need to spend money is something else in computer terms. Ex's video card burned up sending her computer in excessive restarts as it fails before reaching post. Once i Isolated the power supply its good, boards good, ram is good, drives are alive whats left turned out to be the video card. Pulled that. Threw it away when one fan was discovered to have failed allowing the thing to burn up.

Went hunting into my computer parts bin. Dug up a 17 year old video card that was stored in anti static and installed that. The other twin to that card had a fan out of balance and need replacing. Something I am getting ready to do tonight at the dinner table. Palsy or not. Installed video card and fired the machine. Its alive and reaches desktop in good order. Zero dollars spent and my own knowledge of these computers that I built myself was able to pull us through before we go out and "Spin money" as we say in the South trying to fix a problem with more money.

Keep in mind we did not feel that computer shops of which there are 6 excluding college would not be open in Covid19 and the two remaining retails downtown in Little Rock would be more difficult than normal if they were open. And that involves gas burn and money for a uncertain result.

In other words with the story from today, I am trying to express that we had several problems and managed to fix them on our own at home. After diagnosing same when carefully thinking the behavior problem through.

I don't know how long we will be "Allowed" to solve problems on our own in this near future that is looking very much in conflict with what we were raised on.
