We haul our own equipment and it is the same exact load 95% of the time which I have scaled. We broke a track on a machine and I hauled a 2,000lb UTV to our shop and brought back a 12,000lb skid steer so that we could get the track on. The utv rides at the very back of the trailer and in its place for the trip home is the skid steer. The machine on the front of the trailer weighs 20k.

That’s not all that is on there. It is a step deck equipment trailer. There is a big diesel generator bolted into the neck. Everything heavy sits far back. Tandem weighed 27k with the 2,000lb UTV on there. I am replacing it with a 12,000 lb skid steer so a net increase of 10k. The skid steer is backed on as far as it can go and the middle of it is behind the center of the axles.

I misunderstood the equipment loaded post. Can you put the bucket of skid loader up front on the neck?
Maybe that is more of a hassle than its worth.
Take the scenic route. I'd run the state highways. Good luck.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
