    If you bring the trailer forward you put more weight on the steers.. not sure about your fifth wheel... some few hundred lbs per hole...

    Go for the Volvo! Wonderful driving truck. I said it before.... Especially in the mountains. Working the engine brake and all. Works so good together. It's like playing a piano duet with a partner who really knows what he's doing. ..... In contrast... My new Peterbilt was like playing a piano duet with a partner who hasn't learned how to play piano yet.
    I woudn't hesitate on a Volvo. But act like it to the salesman.
