Blah blah. The sissy pants are already crying about a 2nd wave in the fall. These are the same people whole told us a million would be dead by now.

I honestly dont understand how people are so willing to sacrifice the economy and future of millions of hard-working Americans for something that thus far has proven no worse then the flu.

my freedom doesn’t end where your fear begins. I invite you to stay inside and order GrubHub for the rest of your life, but the rest of us would like to get back to work.

And I would love to stay home and order grub hub for the rest of my life and have someone else pay for it.

But I gotta be here getting the job done.

Wuhan is locked down again. Not even 2 weeks after it was reopened. So what does this mean if we reopen the economy? Those who didn’t get the virus will get it

Thats because the state has not shot those who have failed in the simple task of spraying down Wuhan.

Same here. Just practice the precautions, sanitize shoes/boots, limit time in truck stops, and if some socially deprived extrovert just doesn't stop coming towards you, pull out the fire extinguisher and spray the tart.
I drive local and just stick to work and home. Get most groceries delivered and only go into a store if it's not crowded if I really need to go in there.

Introversion is really keeping some of us safe now.

According to Wikipedia still it ended on April 8th? Unless this is something that just happened today (already Friday in China obviously)

I suspect food shortages are next on the hit parade. The local supermarket has already started limiting purchases of ground beef.

With workers at the plants that make the food coming down with the sickness, I'm not too surprised. The food's out there, but with little-to-no workers getting the job done, that's where the shortage gets fired up. Meanwhile, the local, whole-animal butchers in eastern NM and possibly west TX that also get their animals locally are seeing a bit of a resurgence.
