Went to adesa manville today to pick up six cars going back up to one of my dealers in upstate NY.
I left at 5:30 this morning and got there a half hour before security opened.
It took them 3 hour because of limited staff just to get me my gate passes and the fun was just beginning.
In all it took them eight and half hours to get my cars pulled.
Why didn’t you just pull them yourself and get going you might ask?
Because your not allowed to right now!
There were at least 18 stingers there and another 4 or 5 highmounts all waiting for there cars and some had been there since the night before.
There was literally 1 guy pulling cars and one woman driving him back and forth to get the next one for all those car haulers in the transport lot.
I have never seen such #### show in my life.
They had 5 or 6 people in the main office but exactly 1 guy pulling cars.
I understand limited staff and social distancing but 1 guy to literally pull well over one hundred cars by himself ?
I wonder what corporate genius came up with this plan ?

this has gone on way to long.
I am becoming increasingly afraid that a lot of businesses my not be able to weather this storm.
Right now my POV transports seem to be hanging in there but a lot of rescheduling is going on.
But who knows what that will look like in the fall with people watching their retirement accounts evaporate before their very eyes?BigBob410 and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
He came out hot posting to road train status in like a months time. Was really active then vanished..? Funny fella too, I liked him..
Yep, turn mine off at night too, or on a phone call & forget to turn back up time to time..
I'll keep my eyes out for you.! That was actually the last time I've been on the road.. Well 4/09 actually. I took the load home with me on the 8th, & dropped it on the 9th. Have only seen one load worth starting the truck for since then & it got snapped up as I was trying to negotiate more $.. You were easy to spot, if I'm out, I'm always looking.
Safe travels brother.. Keep it Covid free, LoL.!Hulld Thanks this. -
Stay safe and stay healthy.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
That would be one employer where there are 50 chiefs for every indian outside. If you were a chief you stayed in the air conditoning or heat all day.
The worst of the cars including cadaver vehicles that are considered infectious go into a special far corner and gets wrapped. No one touches those and as far as I know no one got bad sick or died yet.Hulld Thanks this.
