I'm curious what you said to your friend. With your 33 years of driving experience you must know that rolling a truck is probably second behind causing a fatal crash, therefore the chances of driving again are pretty slim to none, unless it's with an extremely less reputable company that just wants bodies.

If I had all the answers I would not have come here, I told him I would research if there was any way he could continue in the industry. Chinatown gave some options of company's that may take him. It would be nice if anyone posting on here would read the entire thread, not just try and prove someone wrong or have a I'm better than you attitude. And yes I have been driving 33 years, whats the problem? I own a small fleet, any other questions? Oh and btw rolling a truck is not a death sentence for an experienced driver... but hey you knew that right!!!!

There is a big difference between rolling a truck in an emergency situation and rolling a truck getting out of a parking lot

And if u have been driving for 33 years and own a small fleet then u should understand WHY rolling a truck getting out of a parking lot is not somebody that we should be sharing the road with

I just noticed NYC, now I understand your attitude. I was asking a legitimate question of what your experienced reply to him was. And if you own a fleet put him in one of your trucks, but don't come back here when he does his next stunt. Best of luck.

serioulsy, i missed this posting that you claim to have 33 years in.

i HAD 48 years in before i retired, and by about the 6 month period, i knew things like topping a trailer and roll overs meant no more work, unless one went to a skank company.

why did you NOT know this with 33 years in..??

at the very least you should have known this at the 1 year point of your career.
