Millenicom uses the CDMA / EVDO network. So that would be Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, and Nextel.

You will always get better signal with a company that pays to use other companies towers, then you are not limited to certain towers!

Right now they are having a special... order in September and get the device for free!
Wish I could afford it.... but i'll have to wait and purchase the device!

Hello everyone, just finished reading all 564 pages of this thread and thanks for all the info. I know i'm not 21 yet but thats going to change in a couple weeks tho so I have a couple questions for yall.

    1. I havn't heard very much about how central treats teams. Anyone here with any info about their miles?

    2. Me and a very good friend of mine are wanting to get into driving a truck together and we were wondering if we both go to central can we team drive together as soon as we finish with our trainer and upgrade?

Sorry to but in like this everyone and thank you so very much for all of the info. You have no idea how much of a help you guys are.

    Thanks
    Gamma

P.S. please excuse my horrible spelling I am still trying to find spell check on here.

Yep straight after you upgrade you can team!!

After 6 months with no service failures you could get on a dedicated run if you wanted to.

gamma and mama mia Thank this.

After completing the training/upgrading to solo and the first six months with no sevice failures... is there just the options for dedicated runs and teams, or are they pretty much combined at Central Ref? LOL what a run on sentence:biggrin_2559:. Is a dedicated run usually a team run at Central Ref?

How likely is it for the regular compnay driver after six months to advance to dedicated run?

What about team miles? Are they ok at central? I'm refering to a non dedicated team.

I think I have read all the posts here, but with over 500 I don't remember all the advice and informatin everyone has given, so pardon me if I missed an earlier post about winter driving. Does CRS expect drivers to drive in snow and ice, assuming they can safely, and how long does it it take to chain up the tractor and trailer? Thanks for any responses and thanks to all who have so generously posted here. Love it!

Oh yeah one more question. What exactly do they classify as a service failure? Is it not getting a load delivered on time or something similar?

A lot of Solo Drivers try the Kraft dedicated, more money!

    Depends on your FM!

If the weather is bad and you don't feel confident then you can have the load rescheduled! Just contact your FM and tell them the roads are dangerous!

Late for a Pick-up or Delivery!
