My experience running 100% legal, if anyone cares.

The whole point is to log EVERYTHING the way it happened...in other words 100% LEGAL!
Almost everyone knows how to be CREATIVE on their logs but that is not what Dave is trying to do. He wants to prove that you can't log 100% legal and be able to make enough money to live on and pay the bills.

 

Ah yes, you took that "class" too. Still haven't got paid for it, which they have to do, because they told me if I did not take the class, I would be fired. They used that "m" word.

Didn't help they switched to that stupid fuel route crap, which pretty much shows that you can't play at all with times.

What part of line 1 do people not understand. You only have to log line 4 for 15 mins loading or unloading if you do not have to touch the freight. You can be on line 1 or 2 in a dock if you want. I ask my family, Dad , uncle if they ever heard of a person getting a ticket for logs in a dock on line 1 or 2, in 40 years they have never heard of this. half that time was in California. Dave, why do you have so much line 4, do you unload your frieght yourself? If no, your cheating yourself.

As for quallcomm, yes you can cheat, but not much, not like a paper log.

I know someone who used to cheat a lot running from S. FL to New Jersey. How he never got caught is something I will never get.

It is my understanding that you can log your on duty time on line one after 15min. But it will not stop your 14hr clock. All it will do it keep you from chewing up your 70. Most companies will not allow drivers to log on duty time and shipper or receiver on line 1. When I worked for Swift you were able to log on duty on line 1 after the initial 15.. Again putting yourself on line 1 does not stop your 14...
