Sorry to hear that. This is the first time in my 30 year career that good mechanics are being laid off.

 

I just renewed my own interest in Mannix. I used to love the show as a kid. I'd watch it every week. Many episodes are available on YouTube. I watched one tonight guest starring the stunningly gorgeous Nancy Kovack. She had to be one of the most beautiful women on Earth.

 

Oh no !! Heck of a time to be looking for a new job

 

Its nuts. I'm sure if we were non-union we'd still be there. Don't want to sound conceited or anything but the 3 of us were among the hardest working at the shop. Head down, ### up, git 'r done.

 

Just going thru my network of folks I know. Got a short list of folks I'm gonna call up. Gonna give myself a few days to just relax and unwind, clear my mind. I can sit around for the rest of the year if I had to. I'd just rather not. Hate sitting around, I like to make stuff happen.

 

That really sucks man.. At least you've got the best attitude I've ever seen of someone getting laid off..
