From the numbers i have, and if you are truly fair with yourself and us, A O/O makes appox. the same more or less most week's as a COMPANY DRIVER.

truck pmt./lease or paying yourself back.
    ins. bobtail,OCC, health, retirement,breakdown
    ifta, qualcomm,fuel,oil,maint, tires,p.m.
    accountant,bus. n personal
    corp. fee's if u incorparate,
    self employment tax

i GUARANTEE YOU that i can take that 1500 your friend shows you and really show where its more like 900 to 1k.

burst our bubble here and give us a outline of what you think would be your expenses.

not trying to be killjoy, but get the true cost of owning your own bus.

Rates are always low to WIM especially out of tx. I don't know why but they are. Best rate I've seen on that trip is $1.10mi before landstar takes their cut. NeedleSs to say, I haven't made it to WI yet.

I keep trying to get there to bringmy mom down but the killing I'd take on the rate its cheaper to fly her

Thought I'd throw up a picture of the beast. She's nothing pretty. I hope to get a good solid year out of her before moving up (trying to keep startup costs to a minimum). She's a 2000 Freightliner Century. Waiting for my plate and IFTA stickers. Doing some trailer shopping now.

Hope to be pullin' within the next 10 days.
