Worst case scenario then you wait until June.

Maybe you can find a job as a yard dog somewhere in the interim?

They all end the same way on here.
Couldn't cut it as a rookie, somebody got cancer at home.
Lease purchase fail, family emergency, had to turn
    The truck back in.
Owner op going belly up, had to go home and
    Take care of dying uncle.

I've lost count of how many threads ended on
    Here that exact same way.

They require previous OTR experience, at least in my hiring area.

You don't like it? Don't read it. Do you think that internet forums should be safe spaces where no one is allowed to hurt others feelers?

Sit back and read the OP's post. He is wanting to "get back" into trucking at literally the worst time in history and has pretty much zero experience.

He might as well ask if this is a great time to get into working in the oilfield.

The very people that you're down-grading have in the past gone out of their way to give good advice and help people with problems.
Believe me, we'd much rather give somebody good news than bad news but if bad news is all there is that's what they'll get.
Things don't get sugar coated here. This isn't Cub Scouts and we don't hand out participation trophies.
The advice in this thread was honest. Not pretty, not always gentle...but always honest.

Exactly, I was hoping not to have to wait it out that long but if I have to I will. At first it was May 12th, then June, so thats the reason for looking elsewhere, they don't seem to have any concrete date set for when they're going to reopen the orientation.

    Vic Firth Thanks this.
