    So I am with a mega carrier, I haven't been with them too long but I have been talking to another company I possibly wanted to get on with, and they contacted my current employer, now the boss has called me asking about them saying I contacted them and why they are contacting them.
    I told them it had been a few weeks ago I did but I'm not looking for another job and he seemed to not believe me.. I'm a little uncomfortable now with this and my current employer. Has anything like this happened to you before?

    You showed interest in a company, gave them your info, and they contacted your current company to inquire about you. Pretty standard but maybe I'm missing something. Either way, I wouldn't sweat it. Did you sign a non compete clause or something?
