I am very confident an uncracked trailer doesnt become a two piece in a single load. You get under there with a flashlight on a creeper now and then and this could be avoided by finding the cracks when they start and not letting them grow.

Drill the ends, vee em out and weldemup while theyre small.

 

That big Sink hole was mostly to blame with a combination of fatigue.

Really shows if your hauling loads like coils that concentrate the weights in a small area that you must be diligent about frame inspections.

 

Notice that both snapped JUST ahead of the first axle? Thats the spot ypu wanna keep the closest eye on. Ours are all cracked and repaired there too.
