Running a tandem axle con-gear helps cut down on the wiggle. ;-) To add more stress/smooth bore tanker trains on snow. Ugh.

    Not allways.
Some have 2 pintle hooks making the dolly a extention off the first trailer.
Turns them into a B train.

    That eliminates one pivot point.

We always called that a C train. Shopko used to run them out of Boise.

So far backing has been quite a failure.

I enjoy the drive through parking here I have at this truck stop. lol

Still choked at my boss for buying these POS trailers but also grateful he bought trailers so I can actually work while the oilfield is down.

Honestly I’m unsure, we shall find out when I get my first load.

Looks like a Ranco set? Fix what's messed up on them and give em a dupont overhaul and you'll like them. Ranco's at the top of my list for belly dumps.

I pulled A's and B's for a long time, B's are no sweat, the A's I couldn't keep them straight for any distance because they were so short and reacted a lot quicker than longer trailers.
Seemed easier with a tandem convertor, if my memory isn't failing me.
If I used the pins in the turntable, could put them anywhere without a load on.

Maybe you can figure out what this driver is doing right.

    alds Thanks this.
