Same here. Never had a random or a level 1. Look at me, look at the truck and get a walk around or level 3.
Had one point at state level once long ago. Never CSA or moving violations.
    Thank god for profiling.

    Could be batteries going bad.
Maybe something is on that is putting a draw on them. Or your charging system is going out.

What model truck? Side box lights going out when closed? Same with cab lights. The door actuators can go bad .

Time to get out your load tester .

    You volunteering?
Thank you for " 'nards". That was the word growing up but when I went out into the world everybody was calling them something else.

15 months of driving only got scaled 2-3 times. Never an inspection .

Only got randomed because I scratched some little Prius taillight with the side of my bumper while he was hiding in my blind spot going around Chicago.

I've made sure to watch my voltage all week long. Truck can sit overnight with me using the interior lights, I can leave my marker lights on and the truck still always has 12.5v in the morning.

386 Pete. I'm gonna double check the under bunk lights, but I'm sure they're turning off. I know the cab lights are shutting off because I've checked those as well.

I don't know where you work, but in the rest of the world, a preventable collision triggers a mandatory test. Nothing random about it.

Got lots of those... and they give someone's phone number... but the person has either a hard to understand accent and/or doesn't know how to give good directions, or doesn't understand it's a big truck and not a pickup truck... :biggrin_2552:

One of those was REALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE... Can't remember where it was... but there was absolutely no address... I parked at a truck stop nearby the area the day before, unhooked and bobtail to check... was following descriptions like, make a turn after third tree, then go up a hill, then see a white house and continue on for so many miles... so forth and so on... Almost got lost till a neighbor gave me some help...
Was able to get there fine on the next day... and was unloaded right there... on an empty field... :biggrin_25519:

This other one... another delivery at a "hidden" place... they were placing solar panels on that field far from the road... one had to drive thru the woods to get there...

This other one... can't remember either.... but LITERALLY MIDDLE OF NOWHERE... far from the road and nothing on google or GPS... It was still dark when I got there... on sunrise... and I just followed the road...

They loaded me really heavy and had scales there... spent all morning there cause they had to rearrange the load twice to get legal...:angry1: left and went straight to CAT scale at nearest truck stop to double check and THANKFULLY I was legal... it would be awful if I had to go back to rearrange the load...
The rocky road made the truck a truly Freighshaker... Sorry, I couldn't rotate the image.... after I made the video...

And while browsing my old files here I found these...
One when I was in another company... old paper log days... had the weekend off in DE... left trailer at a safe place and bobtail to Woodland beach... Sorry... the image is not good cause I used an old camera and then some free app to upload that to the computer...
