I got my cdl license 2019 October through local company job offer. What happened was there was a local car hauler company offered me a job before i started the school. They told me that i didnot need 160 hours programme since the job was guarantee.
Long story short i passed my exams and got my cdl a and started to work for them. They sent me 30 days training with a driver. Worst days of my life; was sleeping in the cars which was on trailer, was driving over 14-15 hours everyday, driving around weight stations, no food,no break i kept my mouth shut all the time to tried to learn the driving ,but top of that; end of training they said i had to drive without insurance and i quit. And you know what all 30 days i cant able to verify my miles since they didnot put my name on any paperwork.
So i have my cdl-a license with me. Currently i live in Florida but today i made a decision to move Kansas City. By the end of May i will be in Kansas City. so i have 2-3 weeks. Do you guys know which companies would take me under their wings and train me in this recession times?

FFE is out of Gardner, Ks (not far from KC) our school part is closed, but they do have a refresher program for drivers with a CDL. (Over the road with a trainer)
You can call the recruiter and see if they will take you since you don't need the classroom/range training since you already have the CDL.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Good luck with that.

Thanks for the quick posts.
Should i apply them right away tomorrow or should i wait until i move there?
P.S. I hope i made a good decision about moving to Kansas City? I picked that city since the housing is reasonable price range. -
This company hires new drivers that have a cdl-a and no experience or cdl school.
