Swift - Syracuse, NY

He should be finishing up the end of next week. haven't heard from him in a while. Hopeing to see him while I am there.

I was faxing paperwork to Swift up until friday afternoon. They tried to verify my past employment, but the company I worked for in AZ doesn't verify. They have you go thru a website called uconfirm.com. it cost $15.75 to get verification. They had a lot of companies listed that use this site. I had to fax w-2's for the past years. i paid the money for this site to get verifiesd and they got me the paperwork friday afternoon. Now they have everything they need and said I was good to go. It wasn't Swift's fault. Who ever heard of haveing to pay to get your employment verified?

 

First time I ever heard of it to. Called there on Thursday and talked to my old boss. He couldn't do anything to help me except to give me the website. He told me that even if a bank or car dealer called to verify employment and income they had to use that website. To verify income along with employment takes even longer because you have to get a release form and fax it to them.

Thanks for the luck. I have my ticket in hand. Going to get everthing ready tomorrow because my bus leaves at 8:35 Tuesday am. i will get there around 2:30, so I will have time to get settled into hotel and get a good nights sleep. I'll let everybody know what goes on so you will know what to expect. Only thing I'm sure about is drug test, physical and driving test on tuesday.

Did you have a camera to take pictures? always have on with you. my last job had a camera on every truck and said to take the whole rool of pictures if anything happened. after all one picture can show more that anything that can be said. did the trooper give you a copy of report that says it wasn't your fault? Good luck with that.

I am finally on my way to orientation. Asd I type this I am waiting for the bus to leave Albany. I should be in Syracuse about 2:30. That gives me time to settle in and get a good nights rest. Oops, the Pats are on monday night football so that might kill the good nights rest. Good thing about when I lived in AZ was that this time of year Monday night football started at 6:00.
