It's just not a mortal sin to mention it outside of the lifestyle these days...

 

Exactly! It hasn't ran for 7 months and didn't want the engine to seize up! She started right up with no problem.

I was tearing my hair out last night,and most of this morning. I got in late in the afternoon from a short run and kicked back with a flick. That evening they asked me to take another one a short ways due this morning. Sure I said. I couldn't find my MP3 player. It's a irulu F20. Moderately priced high capacity gadget. Sort of a next generation of iPod. I tore the cab and sleeper apart. I found a few things I had misplaced and forgot, and even some items that other drivers had lost. But no player. I went to bed sulky. This morning at the shipper I searched again. I could swear I had set it on the bedside stand like always. It appeared to have vanished. Reluctantly, I went on Amazon and ordered a new one, same kind. Then for the third time went into the compartment below the stand. The one that houses the sleeper AC. I shined my flash light in every nook and cranny then spotted the player. I could barely make out the line out ports. I made a grabber out of a clothes hanger and fished it out. I was whooping and shouting. It had bounced over the night stand and slipped through the gap in the unit. From now on I will use a small box to hold my small valuables.

Oh, I immediately cancelled the order for the replacement. Then in a grateful mood I placed a donation for a charity function. I admit not for the full amount of the cost of my toy, but about half.
