Some have fell over and it bothers me, been talking to the city about getting them set back up. Some people don’t have respect for themselves let alone anyone else or anything, but to me this is sacred ground. And since it’s a historical tour, would be nice to be able to read all of them....

Quick breakfast, dog wakes me up 6:45 like clockwork. Take him out and walk the perimeter of my 8 acres so he can do his thing. Eat and run to the shop to tinker on some projects.

 

Little late to the game. But yes women do say that. Mine sometimes will go, "she's really cute/hot/pretty. Can we take her hone with us?" Sometimes I tell her, sure. Go ask her.

I wanted one but my Duramax was actually cheaper than any comparable age mileage Tacoma. I did get the Duramax from a life long friend and got a good deal and low mileage but them Tacoma’s hold there value!!!

Is yours 4x4 4 door? Brand new or used? What color?

 

2019, 14000 miles, one owner trade in.

cement gray. 3.5L V6 with the 6-speed manual — as it ####ing should be.

Has the TRD Off-road package 4x4 — the Manual doesn’t come with the crawl control but has a full locking rear with the A-trac system (brake simulated — applies brakes to slipping wheels in 4LO) , Bilsteins all around.

doesn’t have the premium tech / premium package so I don’t have dual zone climate, leather, the upgraded navigation (I just have navigation ), and I don’t have apple CarPlay , nor do I have the sunroof. Nothing I’m gonna miss there.... not a fan of leather seats.

It’s got a push button sliding rear window which is basically worth the asking price by itself...

I found a 6.7L Cummins 4door Tradesmen with the stick for 2k more OTD.... it sold before I could get serious about it.

Tacomas aren’t cheap to buy. But they won’t leave ya stranded. I had to justify the Cummins if I went that route — everything would be more expensive to maintain on it... the Tacoma will tow anything I need it to tow and it’s got the best transmission in any midsize and the aftermarket world is second to maybe the Jeep crowd and that’s it. I paid 27k for it, OTD. Which is a steal. Any I found with similar mileage were 31-34k... plus it’ll be paid off by the years end...or next week

basically got a lightly used Tacoma for 10k off MSRP.

I love the cement color. Looks really good if you run amber fogs and move to matte bronze wheels at some point

the only other color I was interested in was the khaki / quicksand or the matte blue (but that’s a unicorn).

Plan on doing quite a few weekend trips this summer with it.

oh oh oh! And it’s got a built in wireless charging pad!!! I mean like cmon what a deal

the downsides?

the Goodyear wranglers don’t last on these. Don’t know why. 14k and they might have half treads.

it’s got lane departure and an assisted cruise (you can turn both off).

it gets at best 20mpg ... it’s a 21 gallon tank too. Best you’re doing is 400 between fills.

and it’s a Toyota.
